PEHD (polyethylene high-density) is an economical thermoplastic material that combines a multitude of advantages. Both strong and lightweight, HDPE exhibits good impact resistance. As an excellent electrical insulator, it has a very low coefficient of friction and absorbs minimal moisture.
Perfectly suited for machining, it can withstand temperatures ranging from -50 °C to +105 °C and has good chemical resistance. Some HDPE variants are available in food-grade quality.
Thanks to its advantageous properties, PEHD is used in diverse sectors such as the food industry, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, as well as construction.
